Gadgets

Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

Editing Gadgets[View description]

• HotCat: easily add, remove, and change categories on a page, with name suggestions (example)  (View description | Export)

• WikidataInfo: Shows some basic Wikidata information (like: labels, descriptions and aliases) at the top of the article, below the title.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-WikidataInfo.js
• UTCLiveClock - A clock in the personal toolbar that shows the current time in UTC, and provides a purge link.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: UTCLiveClock-pagestyles, Gadget-UTCLiveClock.js, Gadget-UTCLiveClock.css
  This gadget supports loading via URL with ?withgadget query parameter.

  Available for the following skins: Vector legacy (2010), Vector (2022), MonoBook.
